COVID-19 POLICY

Everyone is WELCOME at the 2024 GoPro Mountain Games in Vail, Colorado.

At this time, we do not anticipate any special public health protocols to be in place at the 2024 GoPro Mountain Games. However, our event will comply with any local, state, or federal public health guidelines, and our policies are subject to change at any time.

 

PROTOCOLS & PROCEDURES

  • Face coverings at GoPro Mountain Games venues will be optional.
  • At this time, no outdoor or indoor face covering or social distancing protocols are expected to be in place for the Town of Vail during the event window. Learn more.
  • Individual businesses or locations in the Town of Vail may have their own protocols which must be respected by all who attend.
  • All individuals, whether they choose to wear a face covering or not, will be welcomed and respected.

We remind everyone of the camaraderie of mountain culture and ask that all participants treat one another with kindness and respect.

Note regarding GoPro Mountains of Music concerts at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater: Visiting artists or productions may elect to follow increased health and safety protocols.

WE ASK OF YOU:

  • If you are sick or not feeling well, please stay home.
  • Wash hands often and use hand sanitizer where available.

All GoPro Mountain Games participants will be asked to agree to an additional liability release waiver during the online registration process.

COVID-19 WARNING:

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and customers with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. By participating in a GoPro Mountain Games or Vail Valley Foundation event, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
