One of the most daring paddlers out there, Levknecht is also an EMT in Greensville, S.C. and has recently displayed her athletic skills out of the water – on two wheels and in her running shoes huffing up and down the singletrack of Vail Mountain in the GoPro Mountain Games’ GMC Ultimate Challenge. She’s paddled away from crocodiles in the White Nile and taken on rapids that would have most of us paralyzed with fear, and she’ll be just as fierce defending her title as UMC champion in 2019 even as she takes on the whitewater challenges of the Mountain Games.
