You don’t have to look that closely at the rock climbing emoji to notice it bears a striking resemblance to Sasha Digiulian. After all, the American climbing superstar helped design it. The 26-year-old Washington D.C. native ranks among one of the most accomplished climbers in U.S. history, having notched more than 30 first female ascents and a handful of first ascents of dizzying walls throughout the world. She’s also a Columbia University graduate and Red Bull and GoPro sponsored athlete.
