ABOUT THE TEACHERs:
Julia Clarke is the co-founder of Mountain Soul Yoga in Edwards, CO and has been teaching yoga in the Vail Valley for 10 years. Originally from Scotland, she is an E-RYT 500 yoga teacher, Maharishi Ayurveda Practitioner, an avid hiker and writer whose creative and passionate teaching weaves her deep connection with nature through dynamic and powerful Vinyasa Flow, contemplative Yin Yoga and thoughtful Restorative Yoga. She creates an inspired space for students to witness themselves in a state of constant evolution using intentional sequencing, an infectious sense of adventure, and good Scottish humor.
Sonic Vinyasa Musician. Brian’s classes put the focus on bringing energy, playfulness, and excitement through the yoga experience. Brian completed his 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training under Rachel Nelson at Revolution Power Yoga in 2014, with an emphasis on Power Vinyasa. Through his own practice, he has found a renewed sense of joy and levity in his personal life that had previously been lost due to the challenges that most people face on a day to day basis. By stepping out of his comfort zone, both physically and emotionally, he has learned to find joy in the small things and gain a sense of power and control over his own life. As a teacher, Brian shares his passion with others in the hopes that they, too, can find continued satisfaction and presence on and off their mats. Staying present, working through physical poses, and smiling while cultivating a sense of adventure and fun, has shown that real change can happen. Sweaty, fun, flow, and laughter can be the catalyst to happiness.
