Event Overview
Drawing spectators by the thousands, this top-level climbing competition is now open to the best of the best! The marquee event of the GoPro Mountain Games, the Vail Cup is a full Friday of qualifying rounds leading into a Saturday semi’s and finals for the record books and camera roll.
The Vail Cup aims to promote the highest level of competition in the country. The top 20 competitors of each gender will earn a spot in the Semi-Final round on Saturday morning. The top 6 competitors of each gender will advance to the finals to earn a piece of the hefty purse and some sweet prizes!
Registrants, please be aware; this competition is designed for high-level athletes. The GoPro Mountain Games also offers a TIAA Bank Vail Citizen Climbing Competition and TIAA Bank Vail Youth Climbing Competition for more compatible categories based on your current skill level.
