Day One is officially done, and the fun is just starting.
Picture-perfect bluebird skies greeted athletes and spectators on the first day of the 2026 GoPro Mountain Games. From the fan-favorite Pro Plan DockDogs competitions to kids crushing the CELSIUS bouldering wall, nearly 100 brands activating in BFGoodrich Gear Town, and an incredible performance from Mountain Grass Unit to close out the evening at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater, every inch of Vail was buzzing with excitement.
Day two brings a whole slew of competitions across Vail, including the Lucid XC Short Track, CELSIUS Trickline Invitational seeding qualification, and the brand-new Kids Mini Dash. Plenty is happening offsite, too, including the Pacifico Kayak Freestyle qualifiers and semi finals, which will be live-streamed on the Lucid big screen at International Bridge.
Beyond the comps, the CoLab Creator Stage will come alive with Matt Nelson from WeRateDogs rating the best Mountain Games pups and renowned mycologist Paul Stamets talking about how mushrooms can save the world. Co-headliners Michael Marcagi and Wilderado will end the night at The Amp.
