Pacifico Down River R2 Raft Sprint

Bring your favorite rafting sidekick to take on the mighty Colorado River in this fast-paced event. Identical in format to the Down River Kayak and SUP Sprints, two-person teams will race against the clock down a scenic 4-4.5-mile stretch of rolling whitewater from Pumphouse to Radium.

IMPORTANT:

MANDATORY – CLEAN, DRAIN, DRY: ALL river gear must be cleaned of plants, mud, and debris; drained of all standing water; and fully dried prior to participation in the PACIFICO DOWN RIVER R2 RAFT SPRINTcompetition. Compliance is required before competing. Colorado Parks and Wildlife will have a mobile cleaning unit onsite to assist. Athletes should arrive at the put-in no less than 45 minutes before their race wave start time to go through a gear check, attend a safety meeting and pick up their competition bib.
The safety meeting times are:
- 8:15 AM – Wave 1
- 10:15 AM – Wave 2
- 11:45 AM – Wave 3
