Led by handlers Ryan and Cassie Swift, Team Hawaiian Chaos has always cherished its time in Vail.
Beginning with their late pooch Kona, who loved the water and set the bar for successors like Maui, who jumped the first time she ever hit a dock, as well as Maleki and Kai, Team Hawaiian Chaos will show off its skills in Vail at the 2021 GoPro Mountain Games. Maui, Maleki and Kai have all competed in the World Championships and 2021 started with Maui and Kai raising eyebrows, hands and paws in the Dueling Dogs World Championships. Although it was Kai’s first Dueling Dogs competition and he was a last-chance invite, he ended up making the finals.
The 2021 GoPro Mountain Games will mark Kai’s inaugural performance in Vail, although it was here that he first joined the Swift Family and the Hawaiian Chaos pack, when a friend brought him to Vail as a puppy after the team lost Kona to cancer. At the ripe age of 11 and a half, Maui might be making her swan song in Vail, but expect great things at best and great entertainment at the very least from she and her brothers
