WOW – what a day!
The GoPro Mountain Games basked in the mountain sunshine and the vibes were flowing in their best imitation of our beautiful streams and rivers on Day 1 of action at the best all-around mountain sports and lifestyle event available anywhere in the world.
The magic of the GoPro Mountain Games is not found in any single event, but rather in the incredible experience of multiple mountain sports, concerts, and moments all coming together in beautiful Vail, Colorado.
The dogs were flying through the air at day 1 of the ProPlan DockDogs events in Dogtown, rafters dueled it out at the Pacifico Gore IV Raft Challenge, and canines and their human friends hit the trail at the BFGoodrich Rocky Dog Fun Run.
The kayak freestyle events also got under way with preliminary competitions.
Not to mention an absolutely electric night at The Amp for the first concert of the weekend at the Xavier Rudd show (with Mike Love opening).
