NEW for 2024!
We are working to eliminate waste at the GoPro Mountain Games so all on-mountain Aid Stations will be going cupless for 2024. As part of our continued focus on sustainability, participants will receive a free collapsible cup at registration that can be used at all Mountain Games run events. All athletes should be aware of this change and come prepared for all races.

FORMAT & RULES:

Racers will be sent out in one mass wave. Start positions within the wave will not be pre-determined and it is up to the athlete to get into their desired start location.
Athletes will have to run on all types of terrain ranging from Forest Service access dirt roads to single track.
Athletes will race on the marked 5K course. All course markings for this event will be black signs with green arrows.
The course map will be available 1 week before the race.
Athletes must follow all course markings and know/understand the course map. Athletes who deviate from the official course will be disqualified.
Please see course map for aid station locations, where water and sports drinks will be provided.
- All on-mountain aid stations are going cupless for 2024. Participants will receive a free collapsible cup at registration that can be used for all the Mountain Games run events.
No tripping, shoving, or horseplay will be tolerated and any athlete displaying unsportsmanlike conduct will be pulled from the course and disqualified.
Competitors who start after the posted start time will be clocked from the first wave start time. No exceptions will be made.
Racecourse closes 10 minutes after posted start time. Racers who do not start before then, won’t be able to start.
Dogs are not permitted to run in the adidas Terrex Après 5K. Please enter our BFGoodrich Rocky Dog Fun Run on Thursday, June 6 if you’d like to run with your pup!
